Olivia's Legacy Partners
Hi OCF Supporters!! Maybe we didn’t have your mailing address, so you didn’t see our request that we mailed out recently. With #GivingTuesdaycoming up, and the Gates Foundation matching donations, we thought you’d like to consider our request.
As you may know, since our inception in 2011 the Olivia Constants Foundation, Inc. (OCF) has held an annual fundraising event as the primary way to raise money to support our mission, “to do all that we can, for whomever we can, in the spirit of Olivia.” We have decided to change our approach to better meet the needs of you, our donors and wonderful supporters.
With so many competing events on a weekly basis in the Annapolis area, plus the time required for an all-volunteer board to spend on planning and implementing the event, it is time to re-think our fundraising approach and think about our donors and sponsors time constraints as well.
Therefore, this year we would like to ask you to support us in our annual campaign and would like to invite you to become an Olivia’s Legacy Partner. The first annual campaign will run from November 1, 2017 through February 28, 2018. Our goal is to raise $50,000 so we can continue to fund our efforts through an annual appeal. Our intent is to streamline our efforts and reduce our solicitations in order to focus on our mission.
The OCF understands that there are many competing organizations asking for your dollars. Your donation is greatly appreciated and will enable the Foundation to continue to provide support to our local community and to those most in need. $50,000 will enable the OCF to continue to provide scholarships to graduating high school seniors who emulate the values of Olivia; support anti-bullying efforts throughout Anne Arundel County Public Schools; and support needy families and children throughout the County.
Our Legacy Partners will be recognized on the OCF website and Facebook page throughout the year. The following levels of support are available:
Friends of Olivia: up to $249 Olivia's Ambassadors: $250-$999 Olivia's Defenders: $1000-$4999 Olivia's Champions: $5000 and above
